22-25 October 2012: ERB Workshop 2012
The Earth Radiation Budget Workshop 2012 meeting was held in Princeton (NJ) in USA from October 22th to October 22th at Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) with the CERES, GERB and ScaRaB teams. Eight people represented ScaRaB-3 on Megha-Tropiques at the meeting with 5 oral presentations in the "/ScaRaB Technical Session/" (Rémy Roca, Nadia Karouche, Alain Rosak, Michel Capderou and Olivier Chomette) and 2 oral presentations in the "/Contributed Science Presentation/" (Rodrigo Guzman and Bijoy Thampi). Michel Capderou presented the following paper at the International Symposium on Space Flight Dynamics (ISSFD)

15-19 October 2012: 6th IPWG meeting

The 6th International Precipitation Working Group (IPWG) meeting was held in Sao José Dos Campos in Brazil from October 15th to October 19th at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). IPWG is part of the Coordination Group for Meteorological Satellites 5CGMS), a program of the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO). Seven people represented Megha-Tropiques at the meeting, covering the whole range of scientific activities. Three oral presentations were given on the mission status, the validation activities and the TOOCAN products and three posters presented the BRAIN validation activities, the algorithm validation activities and the last developments of TAPEER. A special session on Megha-Tropiques was held on Thursday the 18th where a very fruitful discussion took place about error estimates for rain products.The presentations are available on the IPWG web site.
